1. Who we are

2. What we collect on this website

• Contact and quote form: name, company, email, phone, the service you're asking about, team size, your message, and any photos you attach. We only collect this when you submit the form yourself.
• Page visit records: which pages are viewed, for basic traffic understanding. We do not use cookies or third-party analytics (like Google Analytics) for this. Instead we store a one-way hash derived from your IP address, browser, and the date - it cannot be reversed to reveal your IP address, and a new hash is generated each day, so it isn't used to track you over time.
• Bot protection: our contact and signup forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real visitors apart from automated bots. Cloudflare processes some technical signals from your browser to do this (see Cloudflare's privacy policy). It doesn't run on pages without a form.
• Essential cookies only: a session cookie required for the site to function correctly, and to remember your chosen language. We do not use marketing, advertising, or tracking cookies, which is why this site doesn't show a cookie consent banner - consent isn't legally required for cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work.

3. Why we process this data

We process contact/quote form submissions based on your consent (given by submitting the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. We process page-visit records based on our legitimate interest in understanding site usage, using pseudonymized data that doesn't require consent.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and afterwards for a reasonable period for our own records, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Page-visit hashes reset daily and are automatically deleted after 90 days.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing. Your enquiry is seen only by the people at Quortek who need it to respond to you. When you subscribe to the Business Management System, payment is handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor - we never see or store your full card details ourselves. Stripe processes that payment data under its own privacy policy.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, and to object to how it's processed. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@quortektech.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

7. If you use the Business Management System

Using our Business Management System is a separate relationship from browsing this website. If you subscribe, your business is the data controller for the personal data you store in the system (your own clients' details, invoices, and so on), and Quortek acts as your data processor, handling that data only on your instructions and for the purpose of providing the system to you. See our Terms of Service for how that data is handled, retained, and deleted, including during a free trial or after cancellation.

Your account's data is logically separated from every other customer's within our system - every record is tagged to your account, and the software enforces that a query can only ever return your own account's data, never another customer's. Quortek does not view, access, or use the data in your account for any purpose beyond running the service itself (hosting, backups, automated maintenance), except when you contact us for support. Any such access is logged with the reason for it, and that log is visible to you from your account's Billing page at any time - this isn't just a policy promise, it's how the system is built.

8. Where your data is stored

This website and the Business Management System are hosted on servers located in the European Union (France). If this changes in a way that affects you, we'll update this policy and, where required, notify you directly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
